Surprising Skills Needed to Build a Skoolie

Last week, Joseph installed metal grates on the intake for the mini-split and heater.

I splurged on the bathroom closet door knob, which is made to resemble sea glass, from a seller on Etsy.  I thought it would look pretty, with the blue in the stained glass we're using in the window.  You can also see we used the glass knobs for the bathroom barn door, same as in the kitchen and living area.  I haven't decided yet about the bedroom knobs.

Joseph mounted my co-pilot seat, and I was delighted to see how much room there will be in the front, just perfect for the second dog bed.  We've both spent most of today under the bus, wrangling wrenches on pipes and U-bolts, and applying pipe insulation, while installing our heating pipes.  It called on us to be contortionists, and we're so thankful it is done.  I'll spare you photos of the underside of the bus.  I expect you can imagine.

It’s the details that make the difference. Your seat looks comfy. You’re getting closer each week!
Have you decided where your first destination will be?

We haven't decided, but there's a Skoolie Swarm in upstate NY in late September, and J thinks he'll be having a high school reunion in the Fall, so those are in the back of our mind as possibilities, if we're road-worthy, and have done our short run(s), to see what we need to tweak by then.
