A Bit of Color

The first amaryllis blooms are opening. It's so nice to have a bit of color right now. Last year was the first time I planted my amaryllis bulbs in garden beds for the summer. They usually have to make do in their pots. I think they're happier.

Do you have to do anything special to them in the garden beds? They sure are purty...

Camie- we just put them in the bed at the same depth they are in the pot. May have put a bit of organic fertilizer around them. That's it!

Anne- see you Saturday!

What a pretty one, I love the color and shape of the flowers.
I just saw your Hellebore post too, it looks like it's close to blooming!

Laurie, your amaryllis are beautiful! A perfect splash of color for this time of year.

You my friend were on the same page as myself, I think it was the universe leaving the sort of heart in my morning protein shake. It wasn't there when I poured the drink before walking away and G wasn't home at the time. I like think it was from above. Smile....
Have a golden weekend! xo
