Roses, Rain & a Little Crochet Project

It's a rainy Wednesday, here on the homestead.  The guys asked me to take some pics of one of their shop projects, and I snapped a quick one of this rose along the walk, the first one planted here.

Anne helped get me started on a potholder Sunday, and I've added a few rows every day. I'm really liking the thick feel of it. You crochet a long strip, fold it upon itself, then sew it together. What crafty fun are you up to these days?

I am painting wine glasses with chalkboard paint right now. Next I am starting Christmas angels. Love to stay busy crafting. Not so much at the housework! LOL!!!

I've been knitting a lot lately, mostly washcloths, but now I'm venturing out and trying socks for the first time. I love it, and I use this great yarn bowl from an awesome potter who's like a second mom to me. ;o)

Wow, you guys rock! Crafting is definitely lots more fun than houswework, Diane! Methinks my yarn bowl is from the same lovely potter, Kellie :o)
