Hello, friends. Last week, the holiday baking was accomplished. Four types of cookies were made, and more than half of them have been handed out so far. I needed more sugar while baking, and not knowing about some J had put in storage, I ground sugar cubes that have been in our preps for some time. I got the cubes, knowing they'd last in long term storage, better than a bag of sugar, and they worked fine this way. Suet was made for the birds. After having a massage and delivering soap 45 mins. away, I had some car issues, and J had to come rescue me. I believe the car itself is fine. I just couldn't get the key to turn in the ignition. J thinks it's likely just a worn down key, and I've ordered a new one. Hopefully, that will take care of it. If not, I'll need a new ignition lock. I do have a back up key, which is what J came with, but it's as old as the one I use (15 years). For all I know, that key was the previous owners main key, so I'd feel safer having a new one. Our Christmas tree is up, and the lights are hung. Next up, ornaments. Wishing you and yours a holiday filled with peace and all the things you love.

Laurie, may your holidays be filled with love and light and peace. We finished lighting the Hanukkah menorahs last night and I believe Warren is ready to move the tree from the bucket in the garage where it has been drinking to the living room.
Merry Christmas! Your tree is so pretty. I hope the new key is the answer. You're all set for the birds now! andrea
Thank you, April. May love, light and peace spread throughout the world.
Thank you, Andrea. Merry Christmas!
Hoping a new key is the "key" to your car problems, Laurie. Wishing you a happy Christmas!

Ha! Thank you, Jane! A happy Christmas to you!
What a darling tree! Fingers crossed that the key is the fix.
Enjoy the glorious weather we’ll be having this week. Sending all good things to you in the new year.
Thanks, Daisy! Yes, when J cut the bottom limbs off for the stand, there apparently was a big hole on one of the sides, so he cut more :o). It's dainty! You enjoy the lovely weather too.
Laurie, Merry Christmas! Sorry to hear about your car woes, I hope the fix is simple. I like your tree, the skirt is beautiful!
Thank you, Leigh! My stepmom is a quilter, and makes the most beautiful things!
Merry Christmas 🎄
