There's a hint of fall in the air. Nightime temps are dipping into the low 60's, and we're able to enjoy open windows again as we sleep. Poke and beauty berries are turning purple, and bright goldenrod sways in the breeze. The garden is beginning to slow down. We begin planting our fall garden this weekend.
I've been putting my work in some new shops and galleries. At the first shop I was dropping off work, I had three sales before I left. I'll take that as a very good sign.
I'm a soapmaker, massage therapist and gardener. Living a simple, green lifestyle is what I aspire to, and something I continue to learn about. The organic gardens here grow food, flowers & herbs. This home was built with the help of several other folks. It took many years, but is now my sanctuary, and where I'm learning to honor my creativity. Believing words are powerful, along with soapmaking, is how the blog was named, rather than there being any exceptional cleanliness here on the homestead :o). Thanks for taking this journey along with me!
