The first amaryllis blooms are opening. It's so nice to have a bit of color right now. Last year was the first time I planted my amaryllis bulbs in garden beds for the summer. They usually have to make do in their pots. I think they're happier.
Laurie, your amaryllis are beautiful! A perfect splash of color for this time of year.
You my friend were on the same page as myself, I think it was the universe leaving the sort of heart in my morning protein shake. It wasn't there when I poured the drink before walking away and G wasn't home at the time. I like think it was from above. Smile.... Have a golden weekend! xo
Thanks so much for stopping by, and taking the time to comment. I do read and appreciate each one, and will respond right here. Thanks for taking part in the conversation!
Do you have to do anything special to them in the garden beds? They sure are purty...
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteCamie- we just put them in the bed at the same depth they are in the pot. May have put a bit of organic fertilizer around them. That's it!
ReplyDeleteAnne- see you Saturday!

ReplyDeleteI just saw your Hellebore post too, it looks like it's close to blooming!
